About Me
Steven Bidwell is a versatile performer, producer, and voiceover artist with a dynamic career spanning stage, screen, and beyond. A proud member of CAEA, AGMA, and ACTRA, Steven’s journey in the arts is marked by resilience, passion, and an unwavering dedication to his craft.
Steven’s stage credits include the Broadway National Tours of 42nd Street (Bert Barry) with Big League and Troika Productions. Off-Broadway, he shone in Fabulous the Musical (Sir Alfred) and Einstein (LeMaitre). Regional highlights include Mamma Mia! (Harry), Born Yesterday (Senator Hedges), and Forever Plaid (Frankie). On Disney Cruise Line, he delighted audiences as Maurice in Beauty and the Beast.
On-screen, Steven has appeared in popular productions such as What We Do in the Shadows (Hulu) and Redrum (NBCUniversal). With training from prestigious institutions like Circle in the Square Theatre School, Vancouver Film School, and UCB, he brings a rich depth to his performances.
As a five-time tongue cancer survivor, Steven has embraced new challenges, including a documentary in pre-production called “Hope in Their Voices: Young Adults Confronting Tongue Cancer”, amplifying stories of resilience and hope from survivors.
When he’s not on stage or behind the camera, Steven enjoys baking artisan bread, crafting homemade ice cream, traveling, and capturing life’s beauty through photography. Currently based in Toronto, Steven is always exploring new and exciting endeavours.
